Designed for demanding hikes and four-season mountain travel, the Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork Trekking Poles combine strong carbon-fibre shafts with secure length adjustment and comfortable natural cork grips. Their robust three-section construction provides dependable support on steep climbs, long descents, rocky tracks and uneven alpine terrain.

Each pole adjusts from 100–130cm, allowing the length to be changed for different users, gradients and trail conditions. Shortening the poles can provide a more natural position while climbing, while additional length can improve support during descents.

Carbon-fibre construction

Three 100% carbon-fibre shaft sections provide a stiff and responsive feel while keeping the total weight to approximately 486g per pair. The telescoping sections collapse to 61cm for transport or attachment to the outside of a hiking pack.

Unlike shorter folding Z-Poles, the telescoping design provides continuous adjustment throughout the usable range, making these poles suitable for changing terrain and shelters that require adjustable trekking poles for support.

FlickLock Pro adjustment

Black Diamond’s FlickLock Pro system uses low-profile forged aluminium levers to secure each shaft section. The external locking mechanism makes the pole length easy to check and adjust while providing strong clamping force when closed.

The tension can be fine-tuned when required, helping maintain reliable adjustment after extended use.

Natural cork grips

The natural cork grips provide a comfortable hold and gradually conform to the shape of your hands. Soft-touch grip tops improve comfort when placing a palm over the pole, while extended EVA foam sections provide an alternative hand position on steep climbs and traverses without needing to readjust the pole length.

Black Diamond Solution wrist straps distribute pressure across a wider surface area for a supportive and secure fit. Their adjustable design allows the straps to be positioned for different hand sizes or gloves.

Interchangeable trail tips

Carbide Tech Tips provide traction on dirt, rock and other natural trail surfaces. The interchangeable design also accepts compatible Black Diamond rubber Tech Tips, available separately, for use on hard surfaces where reduced noise and marking may be preferred.

Low-profile 38mm trekking baskets help prevent the tips from sinking too deeply into soft ground while remaining compact enough for regular trail use.
