Description
Black Diamond Freeride Baskets 75mm
Equip compatible ski or trekking poles for snow-covered terrain with Black Diamond Freeride Baskets. Their medium-sized 75mm profile provides more flotation than standard trekking baskets without the additional bulk of full-sized powder baskets.
The baskets help prevent pole tips from plunging too deeply into firm or moderately soft snow, providing more consistent pole placement while skiing, snowshoeing or winter walking. Their streamlined profile is designed to move through the snow with less chance of catching on surrounding terrain.
Constructed from lightweight EVA, the Freeride Baskets add minimal weight to compatible poles. They are a practical choice for groomed slopes, resort skiing and mixed winter conditions where a compact snow basket is preferred.

Compatibility
Black Diamond Freeride Baskets fit compatible Black Diamond ski and trekking poles equipped with the corresponding replaceable basket attachment. They install by pushing and rotating each basket clockwise until it is correctly seated against the pole tip collar.
Compatibility should be confirmed before purchasing, particularly for Distance Series and Z-Pole models, as some poles use dedicated baskets or tip assemblies.
For deep, unconsolidated snow, a larger Black Diamond Powder Basket may provide greater flotation.
