Black Diamond Icon Headlamp 700 Lumens

Description

Black Diamond Icon 700 Headlamp

Built for demanding adventures where powerful and dependable lighting is essential, the Black Diamond Icon 700 delivers up to 700 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 140m. Its combination of high-output distance lighting, proximity illumination and coloured night-vision modes makes it well suited to overnight hiking, trail running, climbing, backcountry skiing, search and rescue work and extended expeditions.

The multifaceted optical lens produces an efficient beam with strong peak intensity, while separate proximity and distance modes let you select the most appropriate lighting for the task. PowerTap technology provides immediate movement between the selected brightness and maximum output, and Brightness Memory allows the headlamp to switch back on at the previously selected brightness.

Red, green and blue night-vision modes provide greater flexibility for different environments and activities. Red light helps preserve natural night vision around camp, green can assist with map reading and improved contrast, and blue can help identify certain details that may be difficult to see under white light. The coloured modes are available without cycling through the bright white-light setting.

A six-level, three-LED power meter makes it easier to monitor the remaining battery capacity. The digital lockout mode helps prevent accidental activation and battery drain while the headlamp is stored inside a backpack or equipment case.

The removable rear battery pack distributes weight more evenly across the head and can be detached from the headband when required. An included extended cable allows the battery pack to be carried inside a jacket or pocket, helping protect the batteries from cold conditions and maintain their performance.

The Icon 700 operates on four readily available AA batteries, making it practical for extended trips where recharging may not be available. It can also be used with the separately available Black Diamond Icon Rechargeable Battery Pack.
