Small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, the Black Diamond Iota is a lightweight rechargeable headlamp designed for running, hiking, travelling and everyday adventures after dark. Its compact 56g construction makes it easy to wear or carry without adding unnecessary bulk.
The Iota produces up to 150 lumens through a strong oval beam, illuminating the path ahead to a distance of up to 40m. Adjustable brightness allows the output to be reduced for close-range activities or extended runtime, while the strobe setting provides an additional visibility option when required.
Black Diamond PowerTap technology lets you move quickly between the selected brightness and maximum output by tapping the side of the headlamp. This provides immediate access to brighter light when checking the trail, identifying obstacles or navigating an unfamiliar area.
An integrated lithium-ion battery removes the need to carry disposable batteries and can be recharged through the Micro-USB connection in approximately three hours. A three-level power indicator displays the remaining charge when the headlamp is switched on, while the lockout mode helps prevent accidental activation inside a pocket or backpack.
With an IPX4 water-resistance rating, the Iota can withstand rain and splashing water from any direction, making it a practical companion for early-morning runs, evening walks, lightweight hiking and general campsite use.
