The one-handed drinking lever opens the flow while pressed and automatically seals the drinking port when released. For frequent sipping or when you want a hot drink to cool more quickly, the Free Flow Lock holds the port open without requiring you to keep pressing the lever.

Double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks hot for up to eight hours or cold for up to 13 hours. A durable powder-coated finish helps protect the exterior, while the non-slip silicone base keeps the mug steady on desks, tables and other smooth surfaces.

Care Instructions

Lift the lid arm to expose the drinking mechanism before cleaning. The lid and stainless steel vessel are dishwasher safe. Place them securely in the dishwasher and allow all components to dry completely before reassembly or storage.

Please note: The mug is leak-proof only when the lid is fitted correctly and the Free Flow Lock is closed. Check that hot drinks have cooled to a safe temperature before sipping. The CamelBak Tea Infuser accessory is sold separately.

Bicycle enthusiast Michael Eidson was competing in the "Hotter'N Hell 100," and that's exactly what it is to this day: a 100-mile road race, over four days in the grueling summer heat of Wichita Falls, Texas. Water is vital to surviving the race, but there are few places to refill, let alone time to stop. An emergency medical technician by trade, Eidson came up with a solution on the fly: he filled an IV bag with water, slipped it into a white tube sock (yes, an actual tube sock), and stuffed the whole contraption into the back of his bike jersey.
