Description

Clean, protect and maintain your outdoor footwear with the Grangers Footwear Clean & Proof Care Kit. This complete four-piece care system includes the products and tools needed to remove trail dirt, restore water repellency and condition smooth leather footwear.

Begin with the included footwear brush to loosen dried mud and clear dirt from treads, seams and other difficult-to-reach areas. Footwear + Gear Cleaner can then be used to remove remaining dirt, grime and odours without damaging breathable membranes or an existing water-repellent treatment.

After cleaning, Footwear Repel restores water-repellent protection while maintaining the breathability of technical footwear. It is suitable for a wide range of upper materials, including leather, suede, nubuck and fabric.

The included Leather Conditioner provides additional care for smooth and full-grain leather. Its breathable formula nourishes the material and helps protect it against drying, cracking, rain and stains.

Cleaning and Reproofing Instructions

1. Remove the shoelaces and wash them separately if required.
2. Use the footwear brush to remove dried mud, loose dirt and debris.
3. Spray Footwear + Gear Cleaner onto the areas requiring treatment.
4. Wipe away the cleaner and loosened dirt with a clean, wet cloth.
5. While the footwear remains clean and damp, apply Footwear Repel evenly from approximately 10–15cm away.
6. Remove any excess treatment with a clean cloth.
7. Allow the footwear to dry naturally before use.

Using the Leather Conditioner

1. Apply sparingly to clean smooth or full-grain leather footwear.
2. Rub the conditioner into the leather using a circular motion.
3. Ensure seams and joints are treated.
4. For best results, apply 2–3 thin coats and allow the footwear to dry between applications.

Leather Conditioner is intended for smooth and full-grain leather. Do not apply it to suede, nubuck or fabric unless approved by the footwear manufacturer. Always test products on a small, inconspicuous area and allow footwear to dry naturally away from direct heat.
