Description
The SILVA Exceed 4X Headlamp combines exceptionally powerful lighting with a rechargeable 7.0Ah battery for fast-moving activities in demanding terrain. Producing 2000 lumens in maximum mode and up to 2300 lumens in Boost mode, it is designed for night orienteering, trail running, cross-country skiing, ski touring and mountain biking.
SILVA Intelligent Light combines a focused long-distance spotlight with a wide close-range floodlight, illuminating both the route ahead and the terrain around you. SILVA Flow Light allows the beam pattern to be adjusted by tilting the lamp, providing a broad close-range beam when angled down or a longer-reaching beam when directed forward.
The rechargeable 7.0Ah battery can be carried on the headband using the included battery holder or placed in a pocket or backpack using the extension cable. This flexibility allows the weight distribution to be adapted to the activity, weather and personal preference.
Lighting Performance
| Lighting mode | Output | Beam distance | Burn time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boost | 2300 lumens | Temporary maximum output | Short-duration boost |
| Maximum | 2000 lumens | 220m | Up to 9h |
| Medium | 1000 lumens | 120m | Up to 14h |
| Minimum | 80 lumens | 40m | Up to 44h |
Burn time and light output may vary with ambient temperature, airflow, battery condition and usage. At high output, the lamp may automatically reduce its brightness if insufficient airflow causes the housing temperature to rise.
Intelligent and Adjustable Lighting
SILVA Flow Light changes the beam pattern according to the angle of the lamp. Pointing the lamp downward creates a wider beam for slower movement and close-range tasks, while directing it forward produces a longer beam suited to higher speeds and route finding.
The lighting levels can also be used with Flow Light switched off, allowing the Exceed 4X to provide a consistent beam pattern when preferred.
