SILVA Scout 2RC Rechargeable Headlamp

The SILVA Scout 2RC is a lightweight rechargeable headlamp created for hiking, camping, dog walking and everyday outdoor adventures. Delivering up to 350 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 65m, it provides useful illumination for following tracks, setting up camp or completing tasks after dark.

SILVA Intelligent Light® combines a focused long-distance beam with a wide floodlight. This provides visibility both ahead and around your feet, reducing the need for constant head movement while walking over uneven terrain.

Alongside its two white-light settings, the Scout 2RC includes a separate red-light mode that helps preserve night vision. Red light is particularly useful when reading inside a tent, checking equipment or moving around camp without exposing yourself or other people to bright white light.

The integrated 1.0Ah Li-Po battery is recharged through a micro-USB connection and reaches a full charge in approximately 3h. A battery-level indicator briefly displays the remaining charge status when the headlamp is switched off, helping you determine when it needs to be recharged.

Water-Resistance Information

An IPX5 rating means the headlamp is protected against rain and water jets from any direction. It is not designed to be submerged in water. Ensure the charging-port cover is properly closed before using the headlamp in wet conditions.

Which SILVA Scout Headlamp Should You Choose?

• Choose the SILVA Scout 2X if long battery life is the priority and 300 lumens provides enough light for your intended activity. It offers the longest maximum-mode burn time of these three models.
• Choose the SILVA Scout 2XT if you want 350-lumen output together with the flexibility of replaceable AAA batteries. It is well suited to extended trips where spare batteries can be carried.
• Choose the SILVA Scout 2RC if you prefer a lighter rechargeable headlamp with the longest beam distance. Its integrated battery avoids the ongoing use of disposable batteries, although its burn times are shorter than the AAA-powered models.

Battery-system note: The Scout 2X and Scout 2XT do not have built-in charging. NiMH batteries must be removed and charged in a compatible external charger. The Scout 2RC has an integrated battery that charges inside the headlamp through its micro-USB port.
