Green Trails Day Hikes

Have you heard of Meetup is a platform for finding and building local communities. People use Meetup to meet new people, learn new things, find support, get out of their comfort zones, and pursue their passions, together.

Here at Green Trails Australia, we use to allow people to test the hiking gear and/or camping gear that they’ve just bought off us via our website or in our shop. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet fellow day hikers, chat about the gear they use and get some real world feedback on either products that they’ve bought through us, or products they’ve purchased elsewhere.

Our hiking events range from easy walks to very challenging off track bush bashing adventures. We’ve hosted over 250 day hikes from distances of 5km to over 40km, not including our 100km Oxfam effort over 28 hours. Our events are free to join (unless otherwise specified), and they are all about the hike, getting outdoors, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Due to the success of our first Meetup group, we’ve opened a second group to cater specifically to Pack Carry Overnight Hiking Events. Both of our groups are private, meaning that you’ll need to sign up to be a member to see who’s going, and to see the meetup location, people attending, and a full description of the event.
